My date buddy
Little man and I went on a date the other day, just the two of us (thanks to my Mom who had older brother for alone Nana time).
He's such a little nut! He spent almost the entire time giving me a running commentary on what the two flies in the window were doing. He's fascinated with bugs, balls, matchbox cars, and pretty much anything with wheels. All boy. This is him posing for the camera. I have lots of close ups of him trying to attack my camera and blurry shots of him wiggling - he's always wiggling.
And this is him with his car. This is another thing about him, he's always trying to bring some kind of car with him. They're all over our van because as often as they make it into the van they get left there, waiting for a new car buddy to join them for the next trip. Life with boys - it's totally crazy and fun and I can't imagine life any other way.

Awww! When Gabe was that age he used to have to carry around a school bus in each hand. He called them skoo-busses. And he had to fall asleep with them, too. This is such a fun age for little boys.
Shauna, I have to keep reminding myself that they won't stay little for long - but in the stage we're in it's easy to loose sight of. It's hard to imagine Gabe as a little guy but I bet it feels like yesterday in some ways for you. Boys sure are fun!
Oh yes, we have those little cars all over our house, our car, and scattered in between! Boys are so much work, so exhuasting, but sooo much fun!
Okay... it's not cars in our house (at least not yet)... but there are baby dolls and "My Little Ponies" everywhere! Lots in the bed and my car too!
